"Chase and Tinxx Deacon" May 22nd 2004 - September 25th 2005 hermit crab I got my first two hermit crabs at in Stoughton. I named them both on the car ride home. I named one John Cena after a wrestler, in the car that crab climbed on top of the other one. The other crab I named Chase or some reason i just like that name. When i got home chase wasn't moving and for the next two days he didn't move from the spot in the cage where i put him. I picked him up he was dead, the next day my aunt brought him back to the store because there is a seven day warrenty on all animals bought from there. I was still in school, and the day i came home and saw two hermit crabs in the cage i was dumbfounded it took me a while to get my thoughts together and figure out my aunt got another crab for me. And this is where his story begins... I named him Tinxx Deacon. I was asking around for named for him, my bestfriend Deacon said name him Deacon, after me. I said do you like the name Tinxx he said it was a cool name. There was like a sort of a thinking silence he finally said name him Tinxx Deacon, so i did. Tinnx or Deacon (for short) lived a happy life. I noticed he was beginning to get too big for his shell. I started to worry, i knew hermit crabs molt but when i came home from school and saw a naked hermit crab (he molted while i was at scool) i got freaked out. He was just kinda sitting there. So i took John Cena out of the cage and put him in another cage i had. I watched Tinxx for the next three or four days and when i got home from school one day he was dead. I buried him in my aunts garden (i live with my aunt, uncle, and 2 cousins) One of my cousins siad "well at least the garden will be fertilized." That kinda got me mad. But Deacon (my friend) was kinda sad when he heard that Tinxx Deacon passed away. We (all my friends) miss Tinxx Deacon very much and hope he is happy on the other side (even though i'm heaten and don't believe in religion)WE MISS YOU SOOOOOOOOOOO MUCH TINXX!!!!!!!!!! ~Chelsie Added on 03/02/06 |

"John Cena" May 15th 2004 - January 21st 2006 hermit crab John Cena was named after a wrestler on WWE Smackdown and Raw, (John Cena can be seen now if you watch Monday Night Raw on the USA channel.) I nicknamed him Cena. I used to let him crawl all over my bed he used to like roll on his shell and try to get up. He wasn't shy at all like other hermit crabs that hide in they're shell if they are picked up or something, he'd crawl all over you! When my friends came over they'd play with him, they always used to say " He's one cool crab Chelsie." When he passed away i was at my friend Lauren's house sleeping over. The whole time I was over there i had the worst feeling something happened.So i gradually let it go. When I got home the day after i ran right up the stairs to my room and took the top off the terrarium lifted up his liitle house-thingie where he slept. I pick him up..... he didn't come out of his shell.I knew he had passed on. I called all my friends they were all sad to hear of his passing, i cried for days and days. John Cena was my friend i could tell him evrything. I told him everything. So i did what any loving pet owner (with a small pet) would do. I went and got a tissue and a small box, i put a picture of John Cena (the wrestler) in it, i put Cena in it and taped it shut. I dug a hole in the ground (thank-god he passed away before that big snow storm hit) I invited all my friends to attend the "funeral" for Cena, but they didn't want to because the said it would be too painful to see that cool crab being buried. Since then i got a new hermit crab, i got him in Taunton Massachusetts. I named him Mr. Bo Jangles, he's a good hermit crab but not at all like my dearly beloved John Cena. Cena will aways have a place in my heart i hope someday i will see him again. I love you and miss you so very much Cena. ~Chelsie Added on 03/02/06 |

"Babbz" November 10th 2005 - December 18th 2006 Albino/dwarf baby rabit My sweet and cute baby gurl...that dog didn't know what she was doing...she ate my poor baby and because of that...we gave her away,and i am happy now that your in a better place...you and that dog were so ... so... close. i hope that you mt my great grandma and great aunt. they will like you and if you have already have met them then you probely do...i love you so much... kiss kiss. ~Jade Added on 02/14/06 |

"Pudding" October 20th 2001 - November 17th 2004 English Flop-Eared Rabbit I loved Pudding so much. He was my first ever rabbit. I remember all the great times we've had all the time. We did everything 2gether. I wouldn't let him be on his own for more than 5mins!!! He was splotchy, mostly grey, but a few bits of light brown. When he passed away, I felt like the world had ended. I wouldn't ever go back to the shed and see his smiling face any more. I was heart-broken. A few weeks later, I remembered about me taking pictures of Pudding with a camera, so I rushed into town and left them with this lady. I was so happy that I could see him again, I could still be able to see him. When I came back to the printing place, I was devistated, They had said all the pictures didn't come out because I forgot to use flash. I was so mad at myself. I couldn't forgive myself for ages. Pudding died of a disease. I remember holding him in my arms , him sneezes. He wouldn't take much of the medicine. I prayed ever night. On a friday, I went to school, like I usually did, Before I went though, I looked into Puddings eyes, I could see he was worse than ever, I didn't want to leave him, i was bursting with tears. But i went to school, at the moment i came home, i could see it in my mums eyes. He had gone. Forever. I absoloutley cried my eyes out. After a few weeks, I was still crying, My mum said i needed to get a new pet to get my mind off of it. So I did a month later. I got a new rabbit called Rolo when he was 5 weeks old. He still reminds me of Pudding a little bit. He has the same personality. Again, Rolo is an english Flop-eared. (i'm not actually sure if they are english or german flop breeds!) Rolo is exactly the same except he is white and grey. Pudding will forever be in my heart. RIP pudding xxx ~anna Added on 02/14/06 |

"Speedy" July 9th 2000 - September 21st 2004 English Hamster i called him speedy because he was always fast on his wheel,i remember on the first day he was in his cage thats when i new he was my best pet,i took him on holidays let him sleep with me he was my best friend,the 6 years we had together was fun until the last year he was dieing of old age,one day i woke up looked in his cage and i saw him curled up on the sawdust so i opened the cage and picked him up as usual and sadly he was dead :'( it broke my heart i didnt buy another pet for 1 year ~hayley Added on 02/07/06 |
